Control4 driver for the Absolute AudioBRIDGE AB-6 and AB-8 multiroom amplifiers, over RS-232 serial or IP. It controls up to 24 zones with three units linked by flat cable and shows the information of each connected unit.
It lets you set up zone groups on the multiroom itself, initial and maximum volume, input gain and volume ramp, and gives users equalization with 5 presets in Navigator.
Installation
- Serial connection: connect the multiroom serial port to the Control4 controller port
- IP connection: give the multiroom a static IP or DHCP reservation and enter the IP in “IP Address”
- Check the detected units in “Master Device”, “Slave 1 Device” and “Slave 2 Device”
- For groups, set the room endpoint connections and use “Group x Zones” (+XY adds, -XY removes)
- In “Device Select”, set the initial and maximum volume of each zone
- Choose the “Ramp Method” and adjust “Volume Ramping Steps” and “Volume Ramping Slope”
- For EQ, check “Show EQ in Navigator” in the room’s “Navigator” tab
- Enter the key in “License Key”
