This driver lets you integrate generic alarm systems with Control4, using relays and contacts to control the panel and get feedback from it.
The driver offers a virtual keypad, programming events, automatic arm, disarm and alarm notifications, and can flash the project lights when the alarm goes off.
Installation
- Set panel output 1 to close when armed and open when disarmed
- Set panel output 2 to pulse when the alarm goes off
- Set panel input 1 to arm and input 2 to disarm when pulsed
- In the driver properties, enter the security code (numbers only)
- In the connections tab, connect the arm and disarm relays to panel inputs 1 and 2
- Connect the armed and alarm feedback contacts to panel outputs 1 and 2
- Set the “Partition Label” used in programming and messages
