Integration driver for motor control through the WEG CFW300 variable frequency drive over the local network, via Modbus TCP, with no extra module beyond the drive’s own Ethernet module.
It turns the motor on and off, adjusts the intensity in 7 levels and sends a notification if the drive faults. The typical use is counter-current swim pumps, but it works with any motor controlled by the CFW300.
Installation
- Commission the drive as described in the documentation (P028, P220-P228, P850-P859, P865, P868, P313, P133, P100/P101)
- Add the driver to the project
- Fill in “IP Address” with the IP of the drive’s Ethernet module
- Confirm “TCP Port” (default 502) and “Modbus Slave ID” (default 1)
- Set “Velocidade Mínima %” (minimum speed) to the same value as P133
- Adjust the percentages of the 7 levels to the customer’s needs
Features
- Turn the motor on and off from Navigator
- Intensity adjustment in 7 named levels
- Configurable percentage of each level and minimum speed
- Configurable turn-on level preset
- Button links for keypads with LED feedback
- Automatic push notification if the drive faults
- Fault reset by action and from programming
Requirements
- CFW300-CETH Ethernet module installed on the drive, with a static IP
- Controller on the same network as the drive, with TCP port 502 reachable
- Drive commissioned with the network parameters given in the documentation
